Set of 3 Chappell Center-Rule Bench Squares—#912, #69 and #34.

The Chappell Center-Rule Bench Squares are perfect for woodworkers, machinists, and craftspeople of any mode. They have always been one of our most popular items–and the Set of 3 one of our biggest sellers. These squares fill a niche for woodworkers and craftsmen of any mode, and will surely become one of your favorite go-to squares.

The 69 and 912 Chappell Center-Rule Bench Squares have a 1.5" wide body and a 1" wide tongue. Both body and tongue, front and back, have zero point Imperial 1/16th or Chappell .05 decimal inch rulings on the edges and a center rule scale along the center of each leg to match the same ruling. Please specify the ruling type when ordering.

Model #34 Gauging Square has a body 1" x 4" and a tongue 1" x 3". The #34 is ideal for intricate layout and also for setting both circular saws and table saw blades to a perfect 90 degrees. Scaled in Imperial 1/16th inch markings.

When performing layout, these bench squares can work in tandem with our larger Framing Squares by nesting them one to the other on the piece of work to extend locations for end of tenons or secondary offset or layout marks. This is especially helpful in making perpendicular setbacks or parallel layout on rafters or any member requiring angle cuts.

All our squares are precision milled from 304 stainless steel with deeply etched markings for a lifetime of use.
