My feedback on Woodworkers Center Rule Bench Square Set (set of 3)
Am I happy with my order? Yes, absolutely!
As with the master framing square, the set of three smaller squares is definitely a cut above most other products. The quality and precision are apparent when you first open the packaging and hold them in your hand.
Everything screams quality from the stainless steel it’s made from to the crisp engraving of the graduations. These are generational tools that are a joy to use so I find myself looking for excuses to put them to use! Thank you for continuing to make high quality products in the greatest country in the world!

The traveler lives up to expectations. The review I really want to give is for the 12″ center ruler:
I have carried the 12″ center rule in my nail apron for almost 4 years straight. I work in the highly demanding work environment of set construction for Hollywood. We work 70+ hours a week, often in poor weather in elevated work platforms.
My Chappell square has taken more than its fair share of bumps and bruises, and is still as reliably square as it ever was, with minimal calibration necessary. It hasn’t rusted, the sharp edges have worn in nicely without loosing shape, and the numbers are still as easy to read as the day I bought it.
I have grown quite fond of my 12″ center rule, which is why I am a return customer. I recently purchased the 18” flat rule and the Traveler. The fit and finish are exactly what I would expect from the absolute best manufacturer for framing squares. There is nothing else like a Chappell. It is the golden standard to which all other squares are measured.

We have been using your squares for the last 5 or 6 years and absolutely love them. Even my sacred, hundred+ year old high quality squares can’t compare.
The decimal layout eliminates the need for constantly having to convert to 64th’s when using a calculator and the 18″ leg is a huge plus. The precision and easy to read increments on stainless steel are awesome!
This is without a doubt the ultimate square for precision layout.

The square was ‘square’! Loved the deep etched numbers, marks, and tables. Overall great quality for longevity and easy reading. The weight of the square is perfect for my liking. I’m old school. Did notice a bend in the body of the square. You may want to ship in a more rigid box or have the manufacturer check it. No worries though, we fixed it with a rawhide mallet over a cast table. Thank you!

These are excellent for layout in electrical boxes because the squares are flat and not like a typical machinist square. They are great where measurements have to be taken from center lines. The typical framing square does not have center line.

Very happy, just one thing: it might be nice for you guys to make an option for these in 16th instead of 20th’s since that has become the general measurement increments today.
